For a firm that will have reached its 20th anniversary, we’ve been surprisingly bad at celebrating milestones.

As Scott Hart aptly put it, the last celebration anyone could remember was having drinks at a hotel bar after we won NYSTRs - and that feels like an entire career ago. The IPO could have been our next defining moment, but the pandemic prevented us from recognizing it in the way it deserved. That’s why the 20th anniversary represents a long-overdue and well-earned opportunity to pause, reflect, and celebrate intentionally with our colleagues.

La Jolla holds a unique place in our history as the founding office, and we believe it warrants a different level of recognition.
